Star Nuñez made her debut as one of the first local entrepreneurs in San Pedro under the name Star Caribbean Gift Shop at the tender age of 20. Apart from gift shop items, she soon discovered that everyone in Town preferred the fashion items – clothing, jewelry, perfumes, and accessories.
Soon she had the island girls abandon the local seamstresses for their preference of US imported merchandise. The high demand led Star to a larger and central location, The Moondancer, which immediately became the island’s favorite in women’s fashion.
Today this young Sanpedrana entrepreneur helps satisfy the fashion needs in San Pedro with clothing, lingerie, cosmetics, perfumes, sterling silver, purses, bags and brand names like Victoria’s Secret, Mary Kay, Ed Hardy to name a few and because of the high demand in Men appareal, Moondancer has added a men's department with the latest Dressy & Casual Shirts, Designer t-shirts, Jeans, Shorts, Board Shorts, Perfumes, Wallets,and Sunglasses.
